What is the teaching perspective of ancient Chinese Metaphysics about our destiny?

(The English version is available below)

As the first article of this Chinese Metaphysics page, let us look at how the ancient Chinese teachings say about our destiny. Our ancestors believed that destiny mostly depends on our fate, luck and Feng Shui. However, by doing good deeds and working hard on studies, we can acquire our fortune.

The innate fate cannot be changed merely because it is determined at the moment the person is born but human’s life cycles depend on our luck. Believe it or not, we may design our own destiny according to the ups and downs of our luck which we already known in advanced from our Bazi.

On the other hand, we can obtain good Feng Shui by looking into some objective factors. However, the result may not turn out as we want especially when our luck is bad. For example, finding a house with good Feng Shui is just simply impossible.

Majority of human beings’ lives are controlled by fate, luck, and Feng Shui. This norm had gone through thousand of years in our society.

Is the so-called life really fated to the extend that neither fate nor luck can be changed? In fact, according to the ancient beliefs, in order to change our destiny, it is subject to how many good deeds we have done and how hard we work academically, let’s explore this again in the upcoming article! Stay tuned.
