中國在玄學中，大多耳聞有八字、爻、卦等用來看人一生運程、問事等，當中有稱為三式絕學，亦稱為秘術。

 

分別為太乙觀天道，奇門曉地理，六壬通人事，亦以天地人三才作代表。

 

為何稱秘術絕學?

 

主要學了三式的，都是皇帝身邊的高官如國師、軍師等身分，一般平民是接觸不了，由於少人識，平常亦少見，所以古時都稱為秘術絕學。

Most of you have heard of Bazi, Yao, Gua, etc. and these tools are used to see someone's life fortune and predicting their future.. Among them, there are three forms, also known as the secret arts of Chinese Metaphysics in the ancient times.

 

These divination methods are Tai Yi, Qi Men and Liu Ren.  They are represented by the heaven, earth and man. The Tai Yi method focuses on the aspects of heaven; Qi Men is based on the geographical (earth) aspects and Liu Ren is based on human affairs. 

                 

Why were they called the secret arts?

                                 

They were not for commoners to learn! They were only restricted for use by high-ranking officers around the emperors, such as imperial astrology advisers and military advisers. This is because the three forms were very rare and learned by a few people. Therefore, they were called the secret art.
